Why Keith Urban Considers Himself More Australian Than New Zealander

He may have been born in [/news/new_zealand/index.html New Zealand], but Keith Urban considers himself a true blue Aussie. 
Speaking to KIIS 106.5's [ ], the country music star said he was just two years old when his family relocated from Whangarei, North Island to [/news/queensland/index.html Queensland]'s [/news/brisbane/index.html Brisbane] - and that is why he does not have an accent.
'I was barely two years old when my parents moved to Queensland,' the 53-year-old told Katie 'Monty' Dimond, Rebecca Judd and Yumi Stynes on Tuesday.

'So born in New Zealand... fully raised in Brissy. I can't do it - [say Brissy in a Kiwi accent].
Keith, who inherited his passion for American country music from his parents, was living with his 53-year-old wife Nicole Kidman in their Nashville, Tennessee, home before relocating to Australia in July and moving to Bryon Bay.

The couple relocated with their daughters - Sunday Rose, 12, and Faith Margaret, nine - to be closer to Nicole's mum, Janelle, and so Nicole could start filming Nine Perfect Strangers. 
Keith has been itching to get back on stage after cancelling his 2020 tour of Great Britain because of the coronavirus pandemic.

He's announced 11 dates for the Australian leg of his upcoming world tour du lịch hạ long, The Speed of Now, next year. 
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday morning, Keith confirmed the series of concerts, which will all take place in a year's time. 
'Australia. December 2021,' he captioned a video of tour highlights. 'The Speed Of Now World Tour.'

Keith will kick things off at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on December 1, 2021, before heading to Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on December 3 and 4.
He will then move to the WIN Sports and Entertainment Centre in Wollongong on December 6, Adelaide's Entertainment Centre on December 8 and Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on December 10 and 11. 
Then he will play at Perth's RAC Arena on December 14, before heading to Queensland for his final performances. 
These will be held at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on December 17 and 18, and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on December 19.
