Germany to Quarantine Arrivals from Sweden & Other EU countries' additional regionsThe list of high-risk countries and regions in Europe and beyond has been revised by the German authorities, now listing all of Canada and Sweden as being particularly dangerous.
The list was revised on the basis of a weekly recommendation from the Robert Koch Institute, the federal government department and research institute in charge of disease control and prevention in Germany.
The newly designated risk areas are effective from 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, 15 November 2020," the RKI announces."
As for travelers who wish to be screened and who have a negative test result, after entering Germany, they will still have to self-quarantine for at least five days.
Registration can be completed via a laptop, tablet, and smartphone via the Digital Entry Registration (DEA) web application.
